Rowing in Berlin - leisure activities with friends
fitness, recreation, nature
Rowing combines in an unique way physical practice, relaxing, and enjoying nature
at the same time. This team sport is an ideal counterbalance to your daily routine of school, studies or work.
Rowing is one of the healthiest and safest disciplines in sports - all main muscles are being trained and
circulation is strengthened. Everybody from 8 to 80 years, men or women alike
can join in.
The rowing club "Welle-Poseidon" is one of the oldest rowing clubs in Berlin and has an extraordinary tradition, sportswise and socially. At "Welle-Poseidon" both fields of sports -
serious or mass sports - are being trained and sponsored in the same way.
Our club is situated on the Großer Wannsee offering an ideal starting point to discover the lakes of Berlin/Brandenburg in a unique scenary of nature and cultural heritage.
Apart from the sports offerings the physical well-being is taken care of and the club grounds invite you to rest in a homely atmosphere and company.
Beginners or experienced rowers are always welcomed, we have an ongoing offering of trial lessons:
adults: Saturdays 11am (experienced rowers)
adults: Saturdays 2pm (beginner lessons: "Schnupperkurs")
children and youngsters: Saturdays 2pm
